My Services

I offer weekly counselling sessions, working with you to explore the root causes of your difficulties, which can often lie in your past experiences and early relationships. My sessions are client-led, with no agenda, where you can discuss whatever is on your mind. Together, we will work to better understand your early experiences, and how they may be impacting your life today.

Clients come to counselling with me for a range of experiences such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, problems with sex and intimacy, trauma, grief, bereavement, food and body image issues, self-doubt, intrusive thoughts, family conflict, questions about sense of self, identity and sexuality, as well as addiction, anger, pressure and intrusive or suicidal thoughts.

I work with a psychodynamic approach; psychodynamic counselling recognises the importance of unconscious thoughts and feelings, which may present themselves through dreams, or through the relationship between the two of us in the room.As needed, we may also discuss simple techniques to help manage overwhelming feelings that occur outside the counselling room, so you can feel better equipped to cope at difficult times.
